A little about us

Who are we?

The California Baton Council (CBC) is a 501(c) 3, non-profit, all-volunteer organization affiliated with the United States Twirling Association (USTA). CBC is dedicated to promoting the sport of baton twirling in California through recreational, educational, and competitive opportunities.

What do we do?

The CBC partners with twirling clubs and coaches statewide to coordinate an annual "Parade of Tournaments" as well as facilitating the State Championships each year in May. The CBC also hosts professional workshops for those interested in obaining their USTA certification for coaching and/or judging.

How can I get involved?

If you are brand new and looking for a coach, check out the "CA Twirling Clubs" page for a directory of active clubs known to The California Baton Council. If you are looking for a way to get more involved with the Council, join us for our annual general membership meeting! We host a general meeting between the end of August and beginning of September each year at which time the next season's Executive Board is selected.
